Confused... ngl.

Story - 2/5

Art: - 5/5

Writing: 1/5

Gameplay: 4/5

Overall: 3/10

It's too short for me to feel for the character. I was also confused about if there was a character we're talking to. I think for a game jam, it's good. Keep going and never stop! You'll get there.

Nice use of solid backgrounds! I too had trouble keeping up with some of the repetition, but I liked the story still. The transitions at the end could be shorter (and skippable?). I tried to download this, but windows wouldn't let me run it for some reason. The browser version worked well though.

Thank you for the comment! I tried to prolong the ending to match the ending of the song, but I guess so far most people are telling me that makes the ending too long. They're fine with the first play through, but with the second, they get annoyed. I think I will try to add a persistent variable that makes the ending skippable when I get more time to work on this. I will also add some choices. Again thank you for the comment!

Made the mistake of turning up the volume because I couldn't hear the bgm at all, but when it went full blast I had no way to fix it because the settings menu was gone. :(

I should have made that more obvious sry :(. Edit: I added a warning screen at the beginning. Thank you for the comment!

that ton of bricks must have missed me, then; I had to keep reminding myself that this was a VISUAL novel Maybe it was clever? If so, the philosophical or psychological nuances were lost on me.

So did read you until the very end? Here are some extra hints: look up Nymphomaniac in any English dictionary, Asmodeus on Wikipedia... There are other hints you can discover :)

Thanks for the reply. The main issue I had was with boredom. I wasn't willing to keep on listening to the same stuff over and over and over to reach some kind of meaningful ending. After five or six circular journeys I'd had enough. I'm all for some kind of cathartic epiphany, but I like to be entertained on the journey.

Thank you for your comment! That is an aspect I did not consider when creating the story. But your comments brought me new ideas. I will keep those in mind in future update/games.

I'm happy you found my comments constructive.

This game starts very slowly, and then it hits you like a ton of bricks.
